World’s First Personalized Packaging Supergroup to Host Event for Brand
Managers & Designers Around Product Personalization

 

CHICAGO, IL – June 2017 – Personalization and customization options are of increasing demand inside the CPG world, and with good reason. Consumers want to feel connected to the brands they buy, as though they have ownership in the products to which they are loyal.

 

Sonder, the world’s first personalized packaging supergroup, saw that trend coming around the bend and decided to do something about it. This September 11-12, the brand will host a free MasterMinds event in Chicago for brand managers, and product and package designers to learn about the benefits of personalization, as well as how to implement processes for their brand’s fan base.

 

The event will cover critical questions around what personalization should look like for brands, including brainstorming authentic ideas in line with existing brand guidelines, overcoming obstacles in the process of customization, and stories from brands who have successfully implemented personalization. Attendees will gain insight on:

 

  • Personalization and printed packaging trends
  • How to integrate customization options into their existing e-commerce tools
  • How to create e-commerce tools that work for customers’ unique needs and interests

 

Featured as a keynote speaker for the event is Gerry O’Brion, who has worked with major global brand powers such as Coors, Red Robin and Procter & Gamble. O’Brion is known for his ability to disrupt marketplaces and come up with big ideas that breathe new life into large brands. His keynote will focus on energizing brand and product professionals to create new strategies for their customers, including implementing personalization.  

 

The MasterMinds event is free to all attendees and will be held at the Chicago History Museum. On September 11, attendees are invited to attend a Meet & Greet evening event to network with other industry experts and professionals. On September 12, they will settle in for workshops from companies like HP, Gravity, Mintel, Monkedia, and Sonder, as well as O’Brion’s keynote.
